1. Coronation Street won Best Soap.
2. Alan Halsall (Tyrone Dobbs) won for best actor
3 Gumede (Kirsty Soames) Best Dramatic Performance
4. Natalie Gumede (Kirsty Soames) Villain of the Year.
5. The Best Storyline was Kirsty's abuse of Tyrone.
6. Patti Clare (Mary Taylor) won Best Comedy Performance.
7. Nigel Havers (Lewis Archer) took the gong for Best Exit.
8. Michelle Keegan (Tina McIntyre) won again for Sexiest Female.

Eureka! won yet another award to add to its already crowded mantelpiece by securing the Best Family Day Out 2013, in the Mamas & Papas Mum and Dad’s the Word awards. Designed to recognise a wide range of family friendly attractions, shopping centres, independent shops and outdoor play areas, the new awards from the Huddersfield-based baby goods retailer is part of a new initiative to encourage Mamas & Papas shoppers to vote on their favourite place. Held in Mamas & Papas’ latest Leeds store, in the sparkling new Trinity Shopping Centre, Eureka! was one of 7 award finalists who received their award from Coronation Street actor Charlie Condou and Amanda Scacchetti, Product Development Director at Mamas & Papas, the company set up by her parents David and Luiza. After receiving the award, Eureka! Head of Learning Liz Smallman said “This is a fantastic recognition for all the hard work that Eureka!’s front of house team put in to make the museum such an amazing day out.” Tom Warman, Director of Marketing & Development, said “We’re absolutely thrilled to receive this award as it’s yet another endorsement from our visitors of all the hard work that goes into making Eureka! what it is. We’re also chuffed that a company like Mamas & Papas is championing companies and organisations like ours for delivering a service that recognises the particular needs of families.” Last year Eureka! won 2012 Best Family Day Out in the UK in the What’s on for Junior Awards.
